Thank you for allowing ‘Time To Relax’ to assist you in reaching deeper levels of relaxation. The ‘Guided Relaxation’ you received today may have caused you to relax to a level you have not experienced lately, or before.

The level of relaxation you reached will not only have reduced your conscious or subconscious tension/stress levels, but will have also balanced your energy and started the process of reversing any negative effects of stress on both body and mind. This may not always be immediately noticeable as the initial results are often subtle to the senses, but over time the positive effects of this process will become very apparent.

Some of the more obvious benefits you can expect over time with regular relaxation sessions include…

Improved focus, attention, creativity and concentration.

To really maximise the benefits of my Guided Relaxation service, I highly recommend you have a minimum of 4 or 5 treatments. This should be enough time for your body and mind to fully familiarise and ground itself with these relaxed states, thus making it a lot easier for you to enter them by yourself in the future.


 

YOU’VE HAD A SESSION, NOW WHAT?


 

I know what it’s like, you have a Guided Relaxation, you leave feeling beautifully relaxed and then before you know it, ‘life stuff’ begins to creep in again and you soon forget what you’ve experienced. Your mind quickly becomes overactive again and stress/tension suddenly finds its way back into your inner world, all before you even have time to blink.

To help prevent this I have listed a few short exercises that you could practise that will assist you going forwards.

As basic as they may appear, I can assure you they are very beneficial on a number of levels and will set you up on your journey to a more calm, balanced mind state/life.

  • Find five minutes in the mornings or evenings to sit or lay down and listen to some calming, relaxing music, preferably with no vocals. Try to choose music that puts you in a good place, mentally and emotionally. Now as you listen I want you to imagine each body part begin to relax, one by one, until you feel relaxation spreading through your whole body. Breathe deeply and calmly as you do this.

  • During the day, stop and ask yourself “What does it feel like to feel totally calm, relaxed and at ease, but yet still focused and alert?” Perhaps use todays feelings as a reference. Then ask yourself…” What would it feel like if I were even more relaxed than that?” Then try to imagine the feeling. Once you’ve managed to feel the feeling, all I want you to do is hold that feeling for at least 30 seconds.

  • Five times during your day, temporarily stop what you’re doing and become aware of your breathing. Just simply place your attention on your chest and stomach area and become conscious of the inhale and exhale. I would then like you to take three, deep, conscious breaths in through your nose and out through your mouth, keeping your attention fully on the breath as it enters and leaves the body. This exercise will help calm an overactive mind by causing it to become present and grounded in the now.


 

In addition to these short exercises, I have created some Digital Audio Recordings that many seem to be beneficial.

I have recordings designed to help you relax, as well as audios designed to help motivate, inspire or empower you. 

I'm confident I have at least one audio that you will find highly beneficial.

I also really recommend finding time each day to just sit in silence for even 5 minutes. Your aim should just be to give your mind a break from the constant external stimulation it gets bombarded with on a daily basis.
